you've got a design but the printers are asking about Bleeds and Creep? this is printers talk to put you off doing your own design work in the hope you instead use their own in-house designers. if this is the case then drop us an email and we can explain it or deal with your printers. remember that we can get bulk discounts at some of London's best printing houses by combining your order with our other customers orders, so it may be best to drop us an email regardless.

* the bleed is the amount you have to extend your design off the edge of the page, this allows for the ever so slight movement of the paper when it is being cut. it is generally about 3mm over the edge of each side of the page.

** the creep if you take a stack of paper and fold it in half you'll notice the paper on the outside doesn't fold as cleanly as the middle pages. your design will need to accomodate this, it's easy.
